Our Mission

We believe the web should be a place where anyone — a student on a school laptop, a worker on a coffee break, a parent on a phone — can instantly play a quick game, look up a math formula, or run a calculation without installing anything, creating an account, or paying a fee. That is the web we grew up with, and that is the web we want to keep alive.

CalcBot is our small contribution to that vision. The site is funded by unobtrusive advertising, not by selling user data or locking features behind paywalls. We collect as little personal information as technically possible, and we are transparent about what we do collect in our Privacy Policy.

The Three Pillars of CalcBot

🎮

Games

A curated catalog of 100+ browser games across 12 categories — racing, sports, platformer, puzzle, action, adventure, .io, idle, horror, strategy, casual, and arcade. From foundational classics like Pac-Man and the original Doom to modern hits like 2048, OvO, and Retro Bowl.

📐

Calculator

A full-featured scientific calculator with arithmetic, trigonometry, logarithms, exponents, parentheses, and a graph plotter. Available from any page with one click — bookmarkable for homework, exam prep, or quick calculations.

📚

Math Tutorials

Free, original math articles covering algebra, geometric shapes, percentages, polynomials, and vectors. Each article includes clear explanations, worked examples, and key formulas — perfect for exam prep, homework help, or quick reference.

Why We Built CalcBot

A few years ago, the web was full of free, no-signup, no-download games-and-tools sites. Then came the era of walled gardens, mandatory accounts, intrusive ads, and mobile-app redirects. We missed the old web — the one where a curious visitor could just play.

So we built CalcBot. We wanted a single destination that combines the joy of casual gaming with practical learning tools. A student taking a 10-minute break from algebra homework can finish a level of Moto X3M, then jump into the calculator to check their answer, then read a quick refresher on the quadratic formula — all without leaving the site or signing up for anything.

Step 1 — Catalog
We hand-pick browser games from publishers who allow embedding, then write original descriptions, how-to-play guides, and tips for each.
Step 2 — Tools
We built the scientific calculator from scratch, including the parser, evaluator, and graph plotter — no third-party calculator widgets.
Step 3 — Tutorials
Our editorial team writes original math articles, with worked examples and clear formulas, covering the topics students search for most.
Step 4 — Polish
Every page gets metadata, structured data (JSON-LD), internal links, and a responsive layout that works on phones, tablets, and desktops.

How We Curate Games

We do not upload game files to our servers. Every game on CalcBot is embedded from the original publisher's content delivery network via a standard <iframe>. This approach has three benefits:

We pick games that (1) run smoothly in a modern browser without plugins, (2) are broadly family-friendly, (3) come from publishers who appear to permit embedding, and (4) span a wide range of genres so there is something for everyone.

Our Editorial Standards

Every game description, how-to-play guide, tips list, and math tutorial on CalcBot is original content written by our team — never scraped, never auto-generated by low-quality tools, never copied from another site. Our editorial principles are:

Safety & Accessibility

CalcBot is a general-audience site. We do not allow content that promotes violence, hate, adult material, gambling, or illegal activity. Ads displayed through Google AdSense are configured for a general audience, and we comply with applicable children's-privacy laws (COPPA, GDPR-Kids) — see our Privacy Policy Section 8.

The site is designed to be responsive and keyboard-accessible, and we work to keep page sizes reasonable so the site loads quickly even on slow connections.

What's Next

We add new games, math articles, and calculator features on a rolling basis. We also actively maintain the existing catalog — removing games that have been taken down by their publishers, updating guides that have gone stale, and responding to user feedback. If there is a game or math topic you would like us to cover, please let us know.
